| Introduction |
| Peter Ginn Birding Safaris, located in the town of George,
Southern Cape, South Africa, pride themselves on arranging tailor-made,
personalised tours for individuals, couples and groups of up to 12 people who wish to
visit Southern Africa or Madagascar to observe African wildlife in its natural
habitat. We offer a personal service to all clients which includes planning of tours,
advice as to where to go and the reservations of lodges and land transport.
We can plan tours of any duration. Because the travel distance to Madagascar is usually considerable for most of our visitors, we recommend a 16 to 21 day tour if you hope to see the variety of habitats and places available. We can also plan add-on tours to the Okavango (Botswana) or to Etosha (Namibia). Many visitors from the USA like to spend a few days in the Western Cape to see this unique area. Visitors coming to South Africa on business can have a short tour planned for a period before or after business or we can put together longer tours to Madagascar. Tours can be planned to focus on general wildlife, or any other aspect of our natural history such as birds. We also plan golf & fishing tours. |

At Peter Ginn Birding Safaris we have personally looked & stayed at
many of the best lodges and game reserves in Botswana, Madagascar, South Africa and Zimbabwe, which helps us to find the best places to visit for clients' tours.
We have also been able to arrange for our clients to visit private farms for bird watching. You can also visit working farms to see local farming activities. Although originally all our clients had bird watching as their primary activity, over the last ten years we have in fact booked more people on general natural history tours and those where the activities are suited to your particular wishes. |
